Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) Cameras
70 Megapixel Panoramic Time-Lapses
TrueLook PTZ cameras can create gigantic 360° time-lapse images – up to 70 megapixels in size. No matter how large your jobsite is, TrueLook can capture it in one beautiful high resolution panorama. This panoramic time-lapse is completely customizable. You can easily crop the panorama to frame the shot exactly as you like. At the end of your project you will have complete photo documentation of your historical jobsite. You will also have an HD time-lapse video of your panorama.
PTZ cameras are robotic, and can be moved remotely from the web interface. The camera can pan 360°, allowing you to explore large jobsites that would not be visible from a fixed-position camera’s field-of-view. They can also time-lapse multiple areas of your jobsite simultaneously. Any view coordinates and zoom level can have its own time-lapse schedule.
PTZ Vs. Fixed-Position Cameras
PTZ cameras have a number of advantages over Fixed-Position cameras:
- Robotic movement controls
- 12x optical zoom provides extreme lossless zooming
- Time-lapse multiple areas simultaneously
- Preset views let you store PTZ coordinates for the camera to quickly recall
These are the real thing. Some of our competitors will claim to sell PTZ cameras, but are actually selling cameras with digital zoom. They may even use phrases like “remote optical zoom,” which is completely false. If the image quality declines while zooming, their camera does not use optical zoom.
Powerful Optical Zoom
Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) cameras can zoom to incredible distances with no loss in image quality. If your camera will be far away from your jobsite, you may want a PTZ camera to capture distant details. No competition’s digital zoom even comes close.
Digital Vs. Optical: Real World Differences
Unlike many competitors’ “PTZ” cameras, TrueLook PTZ cameras have true optical zooming. This means that the image you see is always at the highest resolution, no matter how far away you zoom. Digital zoom, which is used on Fixed-Position cameras does begin to lose image quality when zooming.

No loss in image quality, regardless of zoom levels.
