TrueLook Construction Webcams Now Connect Wirelessly Over Verizon Or Sprint 3G

UPDATE: TrueLook cameras now include built-in 4G LTE modems and connect over AT&T,  the nation’s largest and most reliable 4G LTE network. Once you supply power to the camera, it will come online automatically – you do not have to set up the data connection.

Winston-Salem, NC – TrueLook, a leading provider of construction time-lapse webcams, announces a new capability to connect wirelessly over the Verizon cellular network. Internet connectivity is essential for clients to remotely view their jobsite, watch time-lapse videos, and remotely control the camera. This development dramatically increases the wireless coverage area and potential speed of TrueLook’s service.

Cellular connectivity allows TrueLook webcams to be installed at jobsites where wired Internet is not accessible. Although cameras can also connect via Ethernet or a local wireless setup, these are not readily available for many clients.

TrueLook has long depended on Sprint’s 3G network to provide wireless solutions in these situations. Developing the technology to operate over both Sprint and Verizon networks has roughly doubled the number of cellular towers that TrueLook can connect to. This gives customers a much better chance of accessing a strong 3G signal. The result is that TrueLook can offer cellular connectivity to many more customers, and provide more responsive camera performance across the board.
