JOB DESCRIPTION:

TrueLook is seeking a Product Owner to join our growing team! As a Product Owner your endless curiosity drives you to build great products and services. You love sitting down with customers and prospects to understand their pains, and jobs to do and turning that into product vision and small iterable steps of value. 

You’re able to work closely with development, engaging them in the problems and opportunities of our customers in order to define what we can deliver. You’ll partner closely with internal teams to ensure they have everything they need in order to sell, support, and market your product.  Additionally this role will prioritize software construction activities utilizing a release management strategy within an Agile culture working with software development teams.

Demonstrated experience building and evolving SaaS products and features is a must.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Working with the Executive team, you’ll develop the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for TrueLook
  • Become an expert in our product and the customer needs it solves
  • Make product decisions that drive value on a daily basis while keeping customer needs in mind
  • Lead the full product cycle of ideation, research, design, and construction within Agile process developing and maintaining the product roadmap within features, epics, and stories
  • Plan releases, sprint goals, and groom both technical and business functionality to meet engineering development project expectations
  • Practice continuous customer discovery by regularly meeting with existing and potential customers to get feedback on product capabilities and identify new and emerging customer needs
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle for TrueLook features
  • Work with customers to identify and validate product features and capabilities
  • Work with engineering and user experience design teams to deliver new features and benefits to our customers
  • Work with marketing teams to excite, prepare, and support customers as we roll out feature improvements and new functions
  • Work with field teams to resolve issues, train customers, and learn from feature releases
  • Participate in go-to-market activities and documentation
  • Conduct competitive analysis and lead product reviews
  • Identify and communicate metrics to measure feature performance, reflect insights, and set context for new product ideas
  • Work with partners to add new capabilities and support our customer’s success

ABOUT YOU:

  • You are a customer focused person, always asking the question ‘How will this change affect the customer experience?”
  • 4+ years experience as a product manager delivering features from inception through final release and measuring success
  • You have built and enhanced features for B2B SaaS products
  • Multiple years of relevant experience to include exposure to product and development teams, UX, design thinking, Agile principles, and client facing work
  • You practice continuous customer discovery, are passionate about learning from customers, have a proven method for recruiting participants, asking the right questions and eliminating your own biases 
  • You are curious and ask the five whys; you’re not satisfied with the first answer or initial implementation–you relentlessly pursue deeper answers and better solutions for your customers
  • Understand how to ship the holistic product, not just deliver software
  • Have experience presenting product plans and updates to executive teams
  • You have a framework for identifying and prioritizing new product opportunities
  • Play at multiple levels: vision, strategy, and execution
