About the Role:
We are hiring an Agentic SDET to strengthen quality engineering through AI-augmented testing practices. This role focuses on using AI coding agents to accelerate test generation, failure analysis, gap detection, and feedback loops while maintaining strong fundamentals in automation design, exploratory testing, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a hands-on role embedded with engineering, responsible for ensuring quality is built in early and continuously.
Core Requirements:
Core Focus: Agentic Quality Engineering:
- Hands-on use of AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Cline, OpenCode)
- Ability to decompose testing problems into AI-executable tasks
- Sound judgment on when to rely on AI output versus manual intervention
- Experience prompting LLMs for test generation, debugging, coverage analysis, and prioritization
- Bonus: exposure to agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI) or RAG-based QA/test systems
Technical & Testing Stack
- Backend: Java 21+, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, AWS
- Frontend: Angular 21+, TypeScript, NgRx, real-time streaming (WebRTC/HLS)
- QA: Cucumber/Selenium with an active evolution toward agentic, AI-assisted workflows and exploratory test curation
Key Responsibilities:
- Use AI tools as force multipliers to generate tests, analyze failures, identify coverage gaps, and prioritize testing efforts
- Design and execute end-to-end testing strategies across UI, API, and system layers
- Build, maintain, and evolve automation frameworks that are reliable and scalable
- Partner closely with developers to influence test design, quality strategy, and early risk identification
- Improve CI feedback loops, reporting quality, and signal-to-noise ratio of test results
Required Qualifications:
- Experience as an SDET or QA Engineer in modern software environments
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, TypeScript, or similar languages
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and test reporting tools
- Practical experience applying AI coding tools to testing or development workflows
- Systems-level thinking with attention to business impact, not just test execution
- Clear, direct communicator with developers and QA peers
Nice to Have:
- Demonstrated improvements in test efficiency, reliability, or cycle time
- Experience testing cloud-native or distributed systems
- Experience influencing quality practices beyond assigned test scope
