Continuous Growth Propels TrueLook Towards Record 2017

Leader in construction camera technology sees a busy construction season culminate in record growth of 68 percent for sales and contracts through the third quarter and is now delivering over half a million images to customers daily.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Nov. 28, 2017 – TrueLook, the only company that provides construction cameras combining live jobsite viewing, project time-lapsing, and HD security recording, announces a 68 percent increase in revenue through the end of quarter three 2017 over the same period last year, with an expected total 2017 growth of more than 70 percent.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 2017 construction spending during the first nine months of the year increased 4.3 percent compared to the same period in 2016. Meanwhile, TrueLook achieved a 62 percent increase in contracts and a 75 percent increase in sales for a total increase in revenue of 68 percent.

“Not only have we added new customers this year, our existing customers rely on TrueLook technology across multiple jobsites more than ever,” said Ken Pittman, TrueLook’s chief marketing officer. “We truly value customer service, and we’re confident our strong client relationships have directly impacted the bottom line. This growth has enabled us to add employees, and we continue to add to TrueLook’s line of products and services we offer.”

Over the past 12 months, TrueLook has added many products and features:

  • New camera options – TrueLook is now offering an ethernet-based camera for indoor jobsite monitoring, a new, high-powered 20 megapixel outdoor camera and a 1080p pan-tilt-zoom camera.
  • Standard features – The company now offers 24/7 security recording on all cameras to ensure no jobsite is left with gaps in image recording.
  • Time-lapse upgrades – The time-lapse render modes are upgraded which offer full, condensed and daily features providing more desirable images.
  • Drone services – One of the newest services being offered now are TrueLook-integrated drone mission services. Construction companies can now get a bird’s eye view of their project site.

“TrueLook cameras are now capturing over half a million images daily within North America alone,” Pittman said. “Customers give us feedback on what they want, and we turn that input into new products and features. We’ve recently made it easier for customers to share their images within their community and on social media. For 2018, we have some exciting partnerships and integrations to announce that will allow our customers to be even more productive.”
