We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Business Development to lead our growth initiatives and spearhead the expansion of our business development efforts. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in building and leading our Business Development team (BDR), implementing strategies, and leveraging innovative lead generation tools to drive both inbound and outbound opportunities.


  • Team Leadership: Grow and lead the Business Development Team, including hiring, training, and coaching team members to excel in generating leads and contributing to revenue growth.
  • Innovative Lead Generation: Identify, evaluate, and implement new lead generation tools and technologies that enhance our ability to identify new avenues for opportunities.
  • Lead Pipeline Management: Manage and oversee the leads pipeline to ensure accurate forecasting and timely follow-up, optimizing the flow of leads through the sales funnel.
  • Sales Activity Tracking: Monitor, track, and report all BDR sales activities, providing regular updates on performance, progress, and areas for improvement.
  • Process Enhancement: Implement and streamline processes for both inbound and outbound lead handling, improving efficiency and ensuring a seamless customer journey.
  • Collaboration and Alignment: Collaborate closely with Sales Management to ensure lead quality, proper routing, and effective handoffs between the Business Development Team and the Sales Team.
  • Prospecting Strategy: Develop a comprehensive strategy for prospecting, including identifying target markets, defining value propositions, and tailoring outreach approaches.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work collaboratively with marketing, sales leadership, and other departments to drive new revenue and ensure alignment of strategies.
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, new market opportunities, and areas for growth.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Create, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth, making data-driven decisions.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of achieving targeted goals and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience managing and leading an inside sales team, including hiring, training, and coaching.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills, demonstrated by the ability to motivate and guide a high-performing team.
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce or other CRM systems to manage sales processes and track progress.
  • Strong strategic thinking ability, with a deep understanding of market trends and business development strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and foster cross-functional alignment.
  • Experience implementing innovative lead generation tools and technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of assessing market data and adjusting strategies accordingly.
