Texas Longhorns stadium

A few weeks ago, on August 31st at 3:01 in the afternoon, TrueLook captured its three-billionth image! The image was captured inside the Darrell K Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium, in Austin, TX; home of the University of Texas Longhorns football team.

TrueLook captured image number two-billion only five months ago in Foley, Alabama during Rabren General Contractor’s construction at OWA Amusement Park.

University of Texas’ South End Zone project is projected to cost $175 million, and will fully enclose the stadium. Construction began in the spring of 2019 and is scheduled for completion in time for the 2021 football season. The project is being completed by Hensel Phelps and features additional seating (including club seating and luxury seats), new video board, renovations to the Moncrief-Neuhaus Athletic Center and even a longhorn-shaped balcony carved into the end zone seating, which can be seen here in renderings of the final project.

The University of Texas Longhorns share live video and time-lapse access with the public.
