Project Highlight: Cincinnati Convention Center Renovation & Expansion
The premiere convention center of the Midwest
Messer Construction is leading the transformation of Cincinnati’s Duke Energy Convention Center, a large-scale renovation designed to elevate the venue into a more modern, flexible, and future-ready destination. To document progress and keep a close eye on activity across the site, the team deployed a TrueLook 4K PTZ camera. From day-to-day progress tracking to long-term time-lapse creation, the camera has supported visibility across every phase of construction while also serving as an added layer of site security.
With a single PTZ camera delivering five distinct views, Messer gained comprehensive coverage of this dynamic project. Dedicated angles capture Elm Street Plaza, 5th Street, the adjacent park space, rooftop construction, and a full panoramic view of the site, all in crisp 4K resolution. This setup allows teams and stakeholders to monitor work as the convention center takes shape, including upgraded meeting spaces, enhanced exhibit halls, a new rooftop terrace overlooking downtown Cincinnati, and the development of the two-acre Elm Street Plaza. Slated for completion in early 2026, the $264 million renovation is set to position the Duke Energy Convention Center as a premier Midwest destination, with TrueLook cameras helping document every milestone along the way.
