Quickly Customize Your Construction Time Lapse on iPhone

To create a time-lapse video from scratch using a set of images, see our post “Create Your Own Time-Lapse Video Using Your Construction Site Photos”

TrueLook automatically renders time-lapse videos from your webcam imagery, but you may wish to edit or customize your video for your own needs. In this video tutorial, I will show you how to perform some basic adjustments and edits to your existing time-lapse. Using iMovie (Mac- Free), I cover the following:

  1. Change the video speed (duration)
  2. Stabilize any shaking
  3. Color and contrast correction
  4. Add custom text and graphics overlays

Most of these steps can be replicated in Windows Movie Maker (PC – Free). I intend to make a separate video for PC users shortly!
